About Dave Stech
Dave Stech heads up Stech Family Office with his two sons. Dave is a real estate market-timer first; a real estate investor and private lender second; and a Fund manager third. He spoke at Harvard in 2005, shared his research, and advised everyone to get out of the market as he did. He told the same audience in 2008 he was going all-in in Las Vegas.
Post college, his sons joined him in 2009-10. They bought their first luxury vacation rental in 2009 – the year AirBnb started. They started their first private lending company in 2011 and selected the best dozen geo-markets and borrowers to scale with.
In 2013, his son was Founding Partner of a little company that became the largest hard-money lender in the U.S. with a market cap of over $1 billion – in 4 years. Their family has done tens of thousands of real estate and private lending deals in less than a decade. Dave and his sons are graduates of the London School of Economics, Stanford, and Berkeley.
